INSURANCE AND PATIENT CO-PAYMENTS

Dental insurance can significantly cover your treatment fees, depending on your plan. This is why it’s important to indicate your insurance information as you fill out your new patient form. Submitting your patient form in advance enables us to prepare your benefit materials, including computations of any fees and co-payments dictated by your insurance policy, before you receive treatment. We would be happy to work with your insurance provider and answer any questions you may have about your policy.

When working with insurance, do note that you are solely responsible for fees and co-payments. While our dental team would be happy to assist you when filing a dental or medical claim, we do ask that you follow our financial policy when payment is due. Our staff can discuss our financial policy with you during your consultation.

APPOINTMENTS AND CONSULTATIONS

If you are a first-time patient, Dr. Ashkan Shayegan will perform a comprehensive exam and review your dental and medical histories during your initial consultation on top of the checkup and professional dental cleaning. If we notice any early signs of decay, damage, or gum disease we may recommend additional treatment. Once we develop the appropriate treatment plan, our front office team will provide you with a detailed list of fees. We can also provide an estimate of out-of-pocket fees based on your insurance policy.
